recent distractions

Hello everyone,
I'm really sorry I haven't blogged recently.... two reasons, one Andrew put his back out and couldn't really move far so I've been running around after him and also we just got a puppy. He is eight weeks old, is a cockapoo and is called Hugo. He is so sweet but at the moment time consuming as we are house-training him. I will post some photos soon.
Congratulations to Clare for winning the Penny Black challenge. I am waiting for Clare to contact me to claim her prize and then hopefully I can post more details about her winning art work.

card sample using 'Crafty Individuals' and 'Inkadinkado' set

Hello anyone and everyone who may be following my fairly new blog. Today I am posting a card sample using a 'Crafty Individuals' image of birds and an 'Inkadinkado' clear set called 'dot flourishes'. The latter is a very popular set. Whenever I can get it I take it to shows as it creates such lovely backgrounds. I do have it currently in stock; it can be seen on the 'other' area of the website www.stampersupermarket.co.uk.
The birds have been stamped on white card stock colour washed with pale blue. The flourishes have been stamped and embossed adding a touch of glitter and highlighting the end of the flourishes by adding punched out dots from the blue card, again adding a touch of glitter. The punched area down the left hand side has been created using a Martha Stewart punch.
I will post more samples in the near future. This card has been made by Anne Hide. Anne and Gaynor have been my stamping friends and card sample makers for some time. So many thanks to them both for their beautiful handiwork.
Thank you for following. Many thanks to Jules for her invaluable input and to Kath for guiding me through the challenge side of things.

working on the gallery section of the stampersupermarket.co.uk

Hello Kim,
I meant to post something a few days ago just to show I was on the case but just got round to it. I am working on the website, currently sorting out how to put cards on the gallery section. If all goes well it would be great to have some of your cards on there. I am also adding instructions so anything with an interesting technique would be good for people to read.

just testing

Hello Kim,
Having spoken to you a few moments ago, I went into emails to send you my address and an email came up from you to notify me about a blog message. So I clicked on the link and got into my blog that way. Am sending you this message to see if it's worked. xx Julia
